History of The Legend of Zelda (retrospective) Part 1

Filed under: Zelda Videos — Zelda Wii @ 12:00 am

An epic legend began nineteen years ago which has become the most widely known role playing game for Nintendo. When Link appeared in The Legend of Zelda in 1987 he created a ton of memorable moments for Zelda fans everywhere.

The first game in the series set the mark for the catchy Zelda theme song which many, today, can distinguish in seconds. The style of gaming had a huge impact on gamers as they immediately fell in love with this new lovable character.
The one who we should be paying a many thanks to is the creator, Shigeru Miyamoto. His ability to bring fantasy and interactive role playing to a video game is unlike any other. To this date, there is not a role playing game that can be compared to ANY games in the Zelda Series. Today we have in our hands the latest edition: Twilight Princess
Thank you Shigeru!

Zelda Twilight Princess: Link unleashes a DEATHLY blow!

Filed under: Zelda Videos, Zelda Wii — Zelda Wii @ 11:00 pm

It is certainly good to be back in Hyrule! I don’t remember being in Hyrule since Ocarina of Time!

This section of the game begins after you defeat that giant plant (spoiler) in the forest temple.

Unfortunately, for the first part, you have to go through Hyrule fields on foot. There are some new enemies to destroy and many areas to discover!

When you have had your fun exploring, you head towards the western part of Hyrule fields and enter a town filled with horrible Twilight!

Link then transforms into a wolf and has to find the tear lights to restore the goodness and rid the twilight.

This main section of the game you will encounter some Gorons!! Many of you will find this as a nice treat =)
The pinnacle of this area is when you turn back into Link and get your horse back.

A bunch of evil goons on horses invade the town and capture a child.

What else does the heroic Link do but go after them!

This is the first real fight on a horse against a villain!

Click here to watch Link unleash a final deathly blow to the hostage taker!!

Keep in mind this was my first time trying this boss and I did not have an previous practice! I thought I could do a seamless job defeating him without messing up too much. The pressure didn’t help!

Please leave a comment on what you thought and if you’d like to continue to see more Boss fights (main points in this game)
